At Reading Heart, we believe in adding a personal touch to each book we give away. That's why we're inviting YOU to help us create custom, handcrafted bookmarks that will accompany the books we give to children in hospitals, schools, and underserved communities. These bookmarks are more than just page holders... they're symbols of care, creativity, and connection.
How Does It Work
Personal
Getting started is simple and fun! Here's how you can bring your bookmark-making project to life:
Gather Supplies -- Grab paper, markers, crayons, stickers, or any art materials you love. Get creative!
Design Your Bookmarks -- Draw, color, and decorate your bookmarks with fun designs, positive messages, or anything that sparks joy for a child. Make them bright, bold, and full of heart!
Cut and Finalize -- Cut your bookmarks to size (about 2x6 inches works great) and make sure they're ready for adventure in a child's book. Laminate them if you'd like them to last longer.
Package Them Up -- Once your masterpieces are ready, pack them up safely. Put them in an envelope or box to keep them flat and protected.
Send Them In -- Mail your bookmarks to our team, and we'll make sure they're included in free books given to kids. Each bookmark will be a surprise discovery for a child who opens their new book!

Volunteer Project for Students

Submit Your Proof -- Send your proof to us via email, along with your name, school, and details about your volunteer requirements.
Get Credit -- We'll review your submission and sign off on your volunteer hours. It's that simple!
